At Billo, we want to keep working with creators who are honest, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing great work for brands. This policy explains what we expect from every creator on the platform at every level and what happens if those expectations aren't met. Effective October 1, 2026.
Immediate suspension
Some violations result in immediate suspension, with no warning step. You can still appeal (see below), but appeals are only granted if the underlying facts were wrong, not to reconsider a confirmed violation.
Lying to Support or brands, including claiming you contacted Support when you didn't, saying a task is done when it isn't, or giving Billo and the brand different explanations for the same delay.
Operating more than one creator account.
Ignoring a brief on purpose after already being asked to correct something specific.
Abusive or threatening behavior toward our team or a brand.
Anything illegal, unsafe, or that breaks Billo's Terms, including fake claims or deceptive reviews.
Asking or encouraging a brand to move work, communication, or payment outside Billo.
Warning, then suspension
For these, you'll get one formal warning the first time. A second violation from this list, even a different one, results in suspension.
Repeatedly missing an upload deadline without letting the brand or our Support team know.
Receiving a product, then never uploading or responding to follow-ups.
Only responding to Support once you've been notified of a payout deduction.
Ignoring Support's messages for several days while staying active elsewhere on Billo or with the brand.
Repeated rudeness toward our team, refusing to accept an explanation already given, or denying something you can be shown you said. Disagreeing with us isn't a violation.
Regularly missing brief details and needing repeated corrections.
Going silent for 5 days after an edit request, no response to either follow-up.
Refusing to acknowledge mistakes or repeating the same error without adjusting.
Agreeing to a brand's request directly, then asking Support to decline it or invent a reason on your behalf.
Repeated lost or undelivered packages where you haven't taken steps to prevent it after being flagged once.
New creators
While you're building a track record with Billo, you may be limited to digital-only tasks at first. This protects both you and brands while we get to know how you work.
How to appeal
If you think a decision was made in error, reply directly to the suspension message or reach out to our Support team. We'll review the specifics of your case and respond within 15 business days.
Appeals are reviewed to check whether the record is accurate, for example, if the wrong account was flagged or the evidence doesn't hold up. If our review confirms the violation happened as recorded, the decision stands.
What this means for you
If you communicate honestly, meet your deadlines (or tell us when you can't), follow the brief, and treat our team and the brands you work with respectfully — none of this changes anything for you. This policy exists to protect the experience for creators like you, and to keep bad actors from making it harder for good creators to get opportunities.
