Once you're approved as a creator for a task, you can communicate directly with the brand! Note that this is only available for active tasks that you're currently working on.
How to Contact the Brand
To reach out to the brand, follow these steps:
Navigate to the To-Do tab.
Open the task you're working on.
Scroll to the bottom of the task page.
Click on "Send brand a message".
Start chatting with the brand about your questions or concerns.
How to Access the Messages
If you want to access all messages between you and the brands, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Activity tab on the app.
Click on Messages to see all your conversations with brands.
Tap on the brand you wish to chat with.
When to Contact the Brand Directly
Here are common scenarios where you should contact the brand:
Issues with the Product: If there's a problem with the product you received.
Need Further Instructions: If you're unsure how to use the product.
Task Clarifications: If the task brief or edit requests are unclear, always ask for clarification.
DOs and DON'Ts for Brand Communication
DOs:
Stay on Topic: Keep your questions and communication focused on the task.
Be Responsive: Try to respond to the brand within 1 business day.
Ask Clear Questions: Make sure your messages are straightforward and clear to avoid confusion.
DON'Ts:
Don’t Solicit: Avoid soliciting other community members for work or attempting to communicate outside of Billo.
Don’t Spam: If the brand is unresponsive, don’t flood them with messages. Instead, reach out to the Billo support team for assistance.
Don’t Be Disrespectful: Always maintain a friendly, polite, and professional tone in your messages. This will create a positive impression and ensure the conversation is productive. 💜
