Accidentally applied to a task that’s not a good fit, or need to manage your workload better? No worries! You can easily revoke your application. 😎

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the Billo Creator App

  2. Navigate to "To-do"

  3. Click "Applied"

  4. Select campaign

  5. Tap "Revoke my application:

Important

You can only revoke applications for briefs you haven’t been approved for yet.

If you don’t see the option to revoke, it might mean you’ve been accepted as a creator for that brief. In this case, if you encounter any issues, just send a message via chat, and our Customer Support Team will be more than happy to assist you!

Requesting to Be Removed From a Task

If you’ve already been selected for a task but can no longer complete it, you may request to be removed. However, please note that Billo has a policy regarding voluntary task withdrawals. This process involves identifying a valid reason for removal and contacting Billo support with relevant details, including communication history with the brand.

General Policy

You're allowed to request to be removed from one task per calendar month without penalty. If you request to be removed from more than one task in the same month without a valid reason, your account will be placed on probation, and you won’t be able to apply to new tasks for 30 days. Note that if products have already been shipped to you for the task, their cost may be deducted from your next payout. Likewise, any submitted work will not be compensated if the request is approved.

✅ Valid Reasons to Be Removed (Not Counted Toward the Monthly Limit)

You can ask to be removed without penalty if any of the following apply:

  • The client requests additional work beyond the original scope.

  • The client provides new information not included in the brief.

  • The creators asked to be removed from a task that is too old, and the brand is no longer responding to their query.

  • There are reasons why you're uncomfortable communicating with the brand.

If your reason falls into one of these categories, please be clear when submitting your removal request. Reach out to our Customer Support team 💬

What Happens After a Removal Request

Once you have submitted your removal request, the following actions will occur:

  • Processing the Request: The Billo team will assess the reason for removal to ensure it meets the guidelines.

  • Notifying the Brand: The Billo Customer Support team will inform the brand about the removal request, especially if the reason pertains to additional requirements or content issues.

  • Notification of Action: You will receive an update once Billo finalises your removal from the task.

  • Compensation Consequences: If the removal request is approved, any previously submitted content will not be compensated, and any product shipping costs might be deducted from future payouts.

Steps for Requesting Task Removal

  1. Identify the Reason for Removal: Ensure your reason corresponds to one of the valid categories mentioned above.

  2. Contact Support: Notify Billo support through the application, providing all necessary details (e.g., task ID, communication history with the brand).

  3. Wait for Confirmation: The Billo team will review your request and process the cancellation.

❌ Invalid Reasons (Will Count Toward the Monthly Limit)

The following are not considered valid reasons:

  • You applied without reading the brief thoroughly.

  • Your personal schedule or availability has changed.

  • You answered the screening question dishonestly.

We encourage all creators to carefully review the task brief before applying to avoid any issues later on.
