Important
You can only revoke applications for briefs you haven’t been approved for yet.
If you don’t see the option to revoke, it might mean you’ve been accepted as a creator for that brief. In this case, if you encounter any issues, just send a message via chat, and our Customer Support Team will be more than happy to assist you!
Requesting to Be Removed From a Task
If you’ve already been selected for a task but can no longer complete it, you may request to be removed. However, please note that Billo has a policy regarding voluntary task withdrawals.
General Policy
You're allowed to request to be removed from one task per calendar month without penalty. If you request to be removed from more than one task in the same month without a valid reason, your account will be placed on probation, and you won’t be able to apply to new tasks for 30 days.
✅ Valid Reasons to Be Removed (Not Counted Toward the Monthly Limit)
You can ask to be removed without penalty if any of the following apply:
The client requests additional work beyond the original scope.
The client provides new information not included in the brief.
The creators asked to be removed from a task that is too old, and the brand is no longer responding to their query.
There are reasons why you're uncomfortable communicating with the brand.
If your reason falls into one of these categories, please be clear when submitting your removal request. Reach out to our Customer Support team 💬
❌ Invalid Reasons (Will Count Toward the Monthly Limit)
The following are not considered valid reasons:
You applied without reading the brief thoroughly.
Your personal schedule or availability has changed.
You answered the screening question dishonestly.
We encourage all creators to carefully review the task brief before applying to avoid any issues later on.
