Reasons why sometimes video approval might take longer

How much time do clients have to review my content?

Clients have 3 business days to review the content you have uploaded since the time the video became visible to them. They can either approve it or request edits. If no action is taken, the video will be auto-approved after 3 business days.

Why my video is not visible to the client right away?

When you upload the video, its status will change to "Requires approval", but it does not always mean the client can see your video yet. These are the reasons that cause a bit of delay:

a) The client ordered editing services

  • Our in-house editing team will first work on the editing services the client ordered. Once those are finished, your video will become visible to the client. Usually, it takes up to 2 business days.

b) You uploaded a video on the weekend

  • Weekends are not included in the auto-approval timeline. So for example, if your uploaded video became visible to the client on Saturday, the client will have 3 business days to review the content starting from Monday.

c) Your video had to pass an internal quality check

  • Billo team checks if your uploaded video meets quality requirements. Usually, it takes up to 1 business day.

How to know if your video is ready for client's approval?

If you think your video approval takes too long, check the video status in direct chat:

  • Open the task

  • Click the message icon on the right top corner

You will see:

  • If our team is working on editing services

  • If your video is in quality check

  • If your video is ready for approval and when it will be auto-approved
