Partnership Ads? (For Creators)

Partnership Ads are a new way for creators and brands to collaborate on paid advertising. With this feature, advertisers can run ads that include both their own account and a partner’s account (creator). This means your name or handle may be featured in the ad’s header, and the ad itself can perform better by leveraging signals from both accounts.

For creators, this is an opportunity to grow your presence, build credibility, and earn additional income by giving brands permission to use your content or handle in their advertising campaigns.

Benefits for Creators

  • Reach new audiences – Get discovered by people outside your current followers when brands promote your content or handle.

  • Unlock new income opportunities – Partnership Ads create another earning stream, whether you produce content for ads or simply grant permission for your handle to be used.

  • Build authority in your niche – Collaborating with brands aligned with your values helps establish credibility and influence in your space.

How Partnership Ads Work

To run Partnership Ads, brands need your permission. There are two main permission types:

  • Content-Level Permission (Meta & TikTok Spark Ads)

    • The brand promotes a specific post you’ve already shared on your account.

    • Example: You post a video, and the brand runs it as an ad.

  • Account-Level Permission (Meta only)

    • The brand can run unlimited ads using your handle without requiring a post on your feed first.

    • Example: Your name/handle appears in the header of the ad, even if the content wasn’t originally posted to your account.

Adding Partnership Ads to Your Billo Services

You can make Partnership Ads available as a service to brands on Billo.

  • Add Meta Post-Level Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads to your creator profile.

  • Set your own price for granting 60-day, single-post partnership permissions.

  • When creating the service, you’ll see an agreement notice:

    • Instagram (Meta): By creating this service, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements for Partnership Ads and agree to share the Partnership Ad code with the brand after posting your video.

    • TikTok: By creating this service, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements for Spark Ads and agree to share the Spark Ad code with the brand after posting your video.
