Here’s why it matters:

  1. Making a video pitch is a must to become a Billo creator.

  2. Brands check out your pitch to see if you’re a good fit for them.

Create a short montage that highlights your skills and personality! Include video clips of your branded content, hobbies, pets, or favorite filming locations to showcase who you are and what you love. Add a voiceover where you continue to talk about yourself and explain why you’re the perfect fit for the brands!

Outro (CTA):

Film yourself in a half-body shot, speak straight into the camera, and end the video with "Hire me for your next video on Billo".

👩‍💻 Tips & Tricks

1. Sticking to the Scenario

Your video should include an introduction, a video montage with a voiceover, and a call to action.

2. Visual Quality

  • Important: Disable HDR in your phone settings before recording, as it can affect video quality and coloring when uploaded to the Billo Creator App. Details here.

  • Clean your camera lens, choose a well-lit spot, and ensure your video isn’t blurry, overly dark, or pixelated. For selfie shots, consider using the rear-facing camera.

3. Audio Quality

Eliminate background noise for top-notch audio. While an external microphone is recommended, finding a quiet space away from noisy appliances can also work. For more advice, see our guide on Good Audio Quality.

4. Framing

Keep the camera stable at eye level and centered on you from the waist up. Opt for a clean background—avoid clutter, movement, or tight spaces like cars.

5. Video Editing Quality

Keep it simple! Skip text captions, heavy filters, harsh transitions, or background music. Avoid app logos, watermarks, or social media handles. Ensure each clip fits within a 9x16 frame—no black edges or blurry frames. Learn more in our Video Resolution Requirements article.

6. Camera Presence:

Show enthusiasm and passion without going overboard. Maintain a calm yet energetic tone. Writing a script beforehand can help you deliver your message confidently. For extra help, check out our guide on Camera Presence.
