Being a creator is exciting, but it also comes with responsibilities. Following these guidelines will ensure smooth collaborations with brands and help you work with confidence. Keep this guide handy whenever you need a quick reference.
Your Responsibilities as a Creator
Submit your video within 5 days of receiving the product.
Edited videos should be uploaded within 48 hours.
Collaborate with the brand: Respond politely to their messages and questions in the direct chat, follow the brief, and address any edit requests.
If an unforeseen issue arises and you can’t upload on time, immediately contact Billo Support and the brand to inform them.
Consequences of Missing Deadlines
If you don’t upload your videos within the 5-day window:
Your On-Time Delivery score will decrease.
If you fail to upload a video and/or don’t update us on delays, and we have to remove you from the task, your account may be paused. This means:
You won’t be able to apply for new tasks.
You will be removed from tasks you applied for but weren’t yet approved.
Depending on the situation, you may either be allowed to complete your current tasks and get paid, or you could be removed from all active tasks.
Success Tips: Do’s and Don’ts
Check this collection of tips to understand what you should do, and what you should avoid to ensure smooth collaborations.
What You Should Do ✅
Communication:
Turn On App Notifications to stay informed about important updates on your tasks.
Set Your Availability if you’re planning to go on vacation or a trip, or won't be able to work on tasks for a while. Read more here: My Availability.
Check the Help Center for general questions - you might be able to find your answer quickly! We recommend searching by keywords to get the quickest results.
When contacting support about a task, include the Task ID for quick assistance. Read more here: How to find task ID?
Respond to Billo Support promptly, even if you're late on a task—communication is key.
Notify support or the brand if there are issues with delivery or the product - e.g. tracking shows wrong information, the product came broken, or some parts are missing.
Update Billo Support if your address changes or will change.
Thoroughly read the Offers before applying and only apply to those with briefs you can fulfill.
Working on a Video:
Follow the brief closely, and remember to review the video examples and additional details provided.
Reach Out to the Brand via direct chat if you have questions about the brief or product.
Stick to the Required Video Duration: If necessary, you can upload a slightly longer video but aim to be as close to the required length as possible.
Keep Your Video Simple: Avoid adding text captions, background music, stickers, or other elements.
What You Should Not Do ❌
Don’t post your videos on your social media accounts.
Don’t share videos directly with brands through direct chat or outside Billo. To protect your work and ensure transparency, always upload content through the task. This way, your video is properly tracked, and any necessary edits or approvals are managed fairly.
