Getting started with Billo is quick and easy, and now even easier with no upfront commitment. Here’s how to begin:
1️⃣ Sign Up for Free
Create your account using Google or your email and password.
2️⃣ Set Up Your Brand
Add your brand details to personalize your experience on the platform.
3️⃣ Purchase a Pack
Before you can publish a brief or invite creators, you'll need to purchase a Pack — this is your balance on Billo that you use to fund your video orders.
Why do you need a Pack? Billo operates on a prepaid credit system. Instead of entering your payment details every time you place an order, your Pack balance covers the cost of each creator video (including any add-ons). This keeps things simple and lets you plan your content budget in advance.
How it works:
When you're ready to publish your brief or invite a creator, you'll be prompted to purchase a Pack
Choose the Pack size that fits your needs — you can start small and top up anytime
Your Pack balance is then used each time you approve a creator and finalize an order
If your balance runs low, simply top up from your dashboard and continue placing orders without any interruption
💡 Tip: You don't need to use your entire Pack balance at once. Think of it like a wallet — load it up, use it across multiple campaigns, and add more whenever you need to.
4️⃣ Explore & Invite Creators
After setting up your brand, you'll land on the Explore Creators tab, where you can discover creators using filters like demographics, interests, and lifestyle.
5️⃣ Create a Brief & Kick Off Your Project
You can also start by creating your brief first. Just select ‘Create a new brief’ to get started. Once the brief is ready to be released, proceed to payment and continue to invite creators.
Placing an Order and Creating a Campaign
There are 5 main parts in creating a Brief.
Select your product — Add the product or service you want creators to feature in their videos. You can only select one.
Paste your product URL if you have one.
Select one from 'My catalog' - these are products you've created within Billo platform.
Video — Customize the primary parameters of your creator video and set up your script.
Parameters - this includes duration, aspect ratio, and the option to add Organic posting.
Create your script - you can either create or upload your own script, or use our AI-generated brief.
Organic posting and partnership ads — Get a 30-day organic post on the creator’s Instagram or TikTok for extra reach and credibility. Add partnership ads to run the same post as an ad from their handle.
Add-ons
Editing - Basic editing is included. Add AI captions or use Billo expert editing to boost engagement and stop rate.
Photos - Add a 4-photo set per creator to use in your marketing: product shot, thumbnail, selfie, and product-in-use.
Vertical + Square crop - Two extra aspect ratios, perfect for Meta placements. In 4:5 and 1:1.
Campaign visibility and requirements
Campaign visibility - All creators can see this brief and apply. You can also invite selected creators.
Requirements - Specify criteria for creators to define who is eligible to apply.
Screening questions - This feature allows you to ask questions that creators will answer when applying to a task. You should use it when you need to confirm or get certain info from creators before approving them to work on a task.
💰 Order Estimate
As you complete your brief, an order estimate will appear, helping you budget.
You’ll only be charged after approving creators and finalizing the order.

We’ve made it easier for you to explore and plan before committing. Payment is only required when you're ready to move forward—whether that’s inviting a creator or publishing your brief.

Click Invite to collaborate
You’ll be prompted to make a payment
After payment, you can create and submit your brief
Your brief goes live, and the creator is notified

When you're ready to make your brief live, you’ll be asked to make a payment
Once paid, your brief will go live, and creators can apply or be invited
